AMSE depends on the generosity of individuals and families to provide exceptional education programs and hands-on learning experiences.  We invite you to join our circle of friends who are committed to fulfilling AMSE's mission to inspire children to discover the fun of science.

Student Assistance Program (SAP) – The Student Assistance Program is designed to assist schools in underserved areas of East Tennessee by providing free or reduced admission for field trips to AMSE. The target audience for the Student Assistance Program is schools within a nine-county region (Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, Sevier, and Union counties) where at least 50% of the students receive free or reduced lunches, or Title I schools. The Student Assistance Program is funded through donations from individuals and a donation box at the admissions counter.

Heritage and Family Foundation Gifts
Heritage Gifts

Heritage Gifts help AMSE Foundation assist in building a strong endowment for AMSE and to honor those individuals who provide for AMSE in their wills and estate plans.  A heritage gift that includes AMSE Foundation demonstrates an enduring commitment to our mission to advance science and history literacy. We encourage AMSE supporters and friends to designate a gift in their estate plan. A heritage gift can be made in a variety of ways: through a bequest in a will, through a gift that returns income for life, and/or through appreciated securities.  In many cases, heritage gifts have significant tax and financial rewards for donors.

Family Foundation Gifts

AMSE can be enriched by the support of family foundations that help fund vital educational and outreach programs for schools.  Foundations can also provide ongoing financial support for exhibitions and day to day operating expenses.
