SEPTEMBER
EXPLORE THE WORLD OF MAPS - EXPLORE THE WORLD OF MAPS by making contour maps, exploring maps on the web, and hunting for treasure.

OCTOBER
BLAST OFF WITH ROCKETS - Make rockets from 2 liter bottle, film canisters, and create a geyser with candy and a drink.
      Date: Saturday, Oct. 4, 1:30 - 3:00 Grades 2 - 3

OBEY THE LAW - Young scientist will investigate Newton’s three laws of motion through a variety of activities.

NOVEMBER
POWER RULES - Investigate the forms of energy that produce electricity including solar, water, steam, nuclear, wind and muscle.

DECEMBER
CREATE YOUR OWN PAPER - Discover the science of recycling paper, then use the newly made paper to create various art projects.

EXPLORE THE UNSEEN WORLD - Young scientist will use microscopes to explore the unseen world of cheek and onion cells.
