Special Activities @ AMSE

Dollar Days – AMSE admission will be $1 per person (June 2 – 3) all ages.

Cold War Weapons – Friday, June 2 @ 3:00 p.m. presented by Alex Gabbard in the AMSE auditorium

Special Exhibits @ AMSE

Oak Ridge: World War II Secret City,  AMSE’s flagship exhibition highlighting the building of the city, the construction of the three plants to enrich uranium for the first atomic weapon, and the lifestyle of the people from 1942 – 1945 featuring photographs, artifacts, models, and audiovisuals.

AMSE’s 1940’s Flattop House with original furnishings is an outdoor exhibition available to tour during regular museum hours.

Bus Tours

DOE Facilities Public Bus Tour—AMSE Admission Includes Tour for Bus Registrants (Must be 10 or older, a US Citizen, and have picture ID.  Required registration begins at 9 a.m. Space is limited. Restrictions apply.)
